The main hero of the game, Kent, sets out in quest of a fabulous treasure trove - a cave in which, as the legend says, incredibly huge diamonds are hidden. No one has ever seen them. Kent has to make a long way from one level to another and see many places of the fabulous country. On his way Kent will come across a lot of small diamonds scattered over all levels. In order to pass a level Kent has to gather at each level the specified number of diamonds - only then the door to the next level will open. Each level is a small puzzle and you have to solve it and survive if you want to go any further.
The fabulous country is inhabited with various beings - both peaceful and deadly ones, therefore one should be extremely careful - danger may be lurking everywhere!

Krot is a remake of a once very popular game called Boulder Dash which was played on prehistoric 8-bit computers. Krot features new 16-bit graphics, new music and sounds, new monsters and objects, interesting maps and a lot of new ideas and findings.
